Boiler auxiliary equipment achieves energy conversion through the collaboration of four major functional modules, including combustion auxiliary, steam-water circulation, ventilation, and environmental protection treatment systems, supplemented by control and auxiliary equipment to ensure stable operation.

The combustion auxiliary system is responsible for fuel processing and supply, consisting of coal feeders, coal mills, and ignition devices. The coal feeder uniformly feeds fuel into the coal mill, which grinds it to an appropriate particle size before it is carried into the furnace by primary air; the ignition device provides initial energy during startup or low load to ensure stable ignition of the fuel.

The steam-water circulation system completes the phase change of the working medium, with core equipment including feed water pumps, economizers, steam drums, and circulation pumps. The feed water pump boosts the pressure of deoxygenated water, which then absorbs waste heat from flue gas through the economizer and enters the steam drum. Water heating and evaporation are achieved through circulation pipelines, and it is necessary to maintain stable pressure and flow to avoid abnormal operating conditions.

The ventilation system maintains the combustion environment, including forced draft fans, induced draft fans, and air preheaters. The forced draft fan supplies secondary air, which enters the furnace after being heated by the air preheater; the induced draft fan discharges flue gas through negative pressure while balancing the furnace pressure. The air preheater recovers waste heat through heat exchange, improving energy utilization efficiency.

The environmental protection treatment system purifies combustion products and is composed of dust collectors, desulfurization, and denitrification equipment. The dust collector removes particulate matter, the desulfurization device removes sulfur dioxide, and the denitrification equipment converts nitrogen oxides. All equipment operates in coordination to meet emission requirements.

Control systems and auxiliary equipment (such as instruments and valves) monitor and regulate each module through sensors and actuators to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly operation of the boiler. Their design needs to be comprehensively optimized in combination with capacity, fuel type, and operating conditions.
