Purpose
A double-shaft mixer includes first and second mixing shafts parallel to each other, mixing blades, and a horizontal mixing barrel. The mixing blades extend outward from the first and second mixing shafts in all directions, are arranged equidistantly in sequence along the axial direction, and are offset from each other by a fixed angle in the clockwise or counterclockwise direction in the circumferential direction, so that the mixing blades on the first and second mixing shafts form spiral arrangements with opposite rotation directions respectively; the first and second mixing shafts rotate synchronously with each other, and their blades alternately pass through the plane determined by the axes of the first and second mixing shafts; a feed inlet is provided at the top of one end of the mixing barrel, and a discharge outlet is provided at the bottom of the other end of the mixing barrel.

The double-shaft mixer utilizes the synchronous rotation of two symmetrically arranged screw shafts to convey powdery materials such as dry ash while adding water for mixing. It uniformly humidifies the dry ash and other powdery materials, achieving the goal that the humidified materials do not emit dry ash nor seep water droplets, thereby facilitating the loading and transportation of the humidified ash or its transfer to other conveying equipment.
It is mainly applicable to occasions where fly ash or similar materials are humidified and loaded in industries such as thermal power plants and mines.

The double-shaft mixer is mainly composed of components such as a casing, a screw shaft assembly, a driving device, piping, a cover plate, and a chain cover (see the attached external drawing for details). The specific structural and performance characteristics are as follows:
1 The shell is mainly composed of plates and section steel, welded and formed in the manufacturing plant, and assembled with other components, serving as the support of the double-shaft mixer. The shell is tightly sealed, preventing fly ash from spreading and ash leakage.
2 The screw shaft assembly is the main component of the double-shaft mixer, which mainly consists of left and right-handed screw shafts, bearing seats, bearing sleeves, bearing caps, gears, sprockets, oil cups, blades and other parts.
The left and right-handed helical shafts have high requirements for manufacturing precision and good process performance, and have strict fitting requirements with the bearing housing, bearing sleeve, and bearing cover. The gear has a modulus of 8, a number of teeth of 60, and a pressure angle of 20°; the sprocket has a pitch of 50.8, a number of teeth of 25, and its tooth profile conforms to GB1224-85. Both the gear and the sprocket are protected by shields, ensuring safe and effective operation. The oil cup is a press-fitted pressure oil cup, making the filling of lubricating oil convenient and effective. The material of the blades of the double-shaft mixer is wear-resistant and anti-sticking composite ceramics. The blade structure is designed to be reasonable and simple, easy to replace after wear, and has a long service life.
The 3 water-adding and humidity-adjusting piping is mainly composed of connecting pipes, joints and nozzles. The nozzles are stainless steel atomizing cone nozzles, arranged above the inside of the mixer shell, and axially aligned along the direction of the screw shaft to form a water curtain, which is conducive to the humidification and mixing of materials. The nozzle has a simple structure, is easy to replace, and is made of stainless steel, which is anti-corrosion and durable. The moisture content of the wet ash can be adjusted by operating the manual regulating valve on the water supply pipeline.
4. The cover plates mainly include left cover plate, middle cover plate, right cover plate, hole cover and access hole cover, etc. There are six access holes on both sides of the double-shaft mixer to facilitate the daily inspection and maintenance by operators. The double-shaft mixer is used at the end of pneumatic conveying.
