1. Overview:

The R304 disc slag extractor is easy to operate and maintain, runs safely and reliably, and is a wet-type slag extraction device, which can improve the sanitary conditions of the boiler room. Moreover, it is equipped with a water seal to prevent excessive cold air from leaking into the furnace and reducing boiler efficiency.
Its structure is such that the motor drives the slag discharge wheel in the ash trough to rotate after two-stage worm gear reduction. The ash and slag that fall into the trough from the boiler ash hopper are fished out and then dropped into the ash cart or conveyor belt to be transported outside the boiler room.
A common fault of this type of slag extractor is that the slag discharge wheel gets stuck by large pieces of furnace slag, broken bricks, stones, broken furnace grate pieces, etc., which may cause the motor to burn out. This equipment is equipped with a safety clutch between the second-stage worm gear and the main shaft. When the slag discharge wheel is stuck, the worm gear can be automatically disengaged from the main shaft, allowing the motor to idle to protect it from burning out. In addition, the motor can rotate forward and reverse, making it easy to eliminate the jamming phenomenon.

Scope of application:
This equipment is generally suitable for coal-fired boilers with an evaporation capacity of 10-20 tons per hour, and can be applied to both chain grate stokers and hand-operated grate stokers (if a boiler has multiple slag outlets, they can be combined into one). Larger-capacity chain grate stoker boilers can adopt the continuous slag discharge mode, while hand-operated grate stoker boilers and smaller-capacity chain grate stoker boilers can adopt the intermittent slag discharge mode. Depending on the boiler capacity and the amount of ash produced by combustion, slag can be discharged 2-4 times per shift.
For example, based on the slag output, the slag output of a furnace with a capacity of about 60 tons per hour does not exceed the maximum slag discharge capacity of this equipment. However, since furnaces with a capacity of more than 40 tons per hour have a wider grate, two ash slag hoppers need to be installed, and therefore two slag extractors must be installed.
This equipment does not have a slag crusher and is not suitable for strongly coking coal types, but is applicable to other coal types.
